Catholic Link

Catholic Link is a weekly bulletin published by the Redemptorists for the Church in Southern Africa. We currently have a circulation of over 60,000 copies per week and the Link is distributed in many parishes throughout Southern Africa. A full leaflet that covers differing aspects of the faith and of Christian living in a clear, easy-to-read style. Themes carry over from week to week so that topics can be explored in greater depth but are so presented that the series may be joined at any point. Blank on one side for notices and news. R0.65 per copy plus deliverylinks web.

LOOK for children

Look webLOOK is a Sunday sheet for children between 4-9 years old providing Gospel-focused activities and games for younger children. It is useful for children’s liturgy, school religious education and for family use. Each week the Gospel story is explained in age appropriate language. A prayer and a variety of activities that will engage the children are included to help each child get to know the person of Jesus.

As with everything Redemptorist Pastoral Publications provides, LOOK links faith to the everyday lives of the children.

The cost of LOOK is R0.60 per copy (excluding postages)

Parish Missions

A mission is an experience of renewal in the life of the people of God. Sometimes a mission is for the whole parish or deanery, sometimes just for the youth. But always it is a moment of conversion, and a time for building up the Body of Christ. Missions in this country must face the testing questions of the future of Christian communities in a new discrimination-free South Africa. The challenge to live the Gospel for others is especially urgent in a society where many with the name Christian espouse attitudes and practices contrary to basic human rights and duties.
